The Hunger Games - One of my favorite movies of the year and the start of a new franchise I’m looking forward to following for the next few years. This was a great kick-off to the series and if you weren’t among those that helped it become the #12 highest grossing film on the all-time charts, now’s your chance to find out what all the (well-deserved) fuss was about.

I was amazed how much I liked it. The “Twilight” series was always decent, but I was really invested in this and when the Games started I was blown away.

I have to admit to never having heard of the books before seeing the trailer(The day before release), and thought i had to go and see the movie. I really enjoyed it.
The setting is well described and fires you right into the action.
I keep meaning to get the books. But i don’t want to ruin the other movies…
I’ll read the books after the last movie is released.
