Halle Berry back as Storm in "X-Men: Days of Future Past." Now pick her hairstyle

Bryan Singer officially made this long-rumored announcement on Twitter:

Couldn’t be more excited that #HalleBerry has joined the cast of #XMen #DaysofFuturePast. Hopefully she can improve the weather in Montreal.

Typically I love Halle in everything (except for that furball “Catwoman,”) but I’ve never considered her a good fit for the role. She tries her best, but movie Storm has never been as cool as comic-book Storm. Maybe some of that has to do with the hair?

Like her comic counterpart, Halle has sported numerous looks for the three X-Men films she’s appeared in and they’ve all been pretty terrible. So what movie look should Halle revisit for Storm in “X-Men: Days of Future Past” or should she just find a new style?

I have never thought any actor can create the comic character to the satisfaction of comic readers. I think imagination stirs as one reads a book and no movie can match the picture created the mind by the book. Just as If you see a movie first the book will not be able to match the movie in your imagination. This why since I was an avide comic book reader as a kid I find most of the latest trend for making movies based on the comic books inadequate to meet my expectations.

  • I dunno man. I really enjoyed Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark/Iron Man and Andrew Garfield was just as excellent as Spider-Man. James Marsden made a pretty good Cyclops if they bothered to use him right.

Well Jeffery, people all have different opinions. That is why some kinds of movies play to different audiences right? Different opinions, tastes and styles make for different markets. Just saw “FLIGHT” great film and I loved it. My buddy hated it. Go figure!
