Weird title, but basically this is best soundtrack song and one TV show. This one comes down to a coin flip for me between Adele and Lana Del Rey mainly depending on which song I’ve heard most recently.

As I’m starting to have scratches on my “The Great Gatsby” soundtrack CD, you can probably guess which direction I’m currently leaning. And you’re also probably wondering why in the world I’m still using CDs, but that’s a question for another day. For now, here’s the nominees:

Atlas – by Coldplay for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Silver Lining – by Jessie J for “Silver Linings Playbook

Skyfall – by Adele for “Skyfall

We Both Know – by Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw for “Safe Haven

Young And Beautiful – by Lana Del Rey for “The Great Gatsby

You’ve Got Time – by Regina Spektor for “Orange Is The New Black”

  • What a random category…I’d probably vote for Adele but that’s mostly because anytime anyone mentions the title of the movie I just run the room and sing (badly) “SKYFAAAAAAAAAALLL!” at the top of my lungs.

  • I thought so as well.
Ha! That’s the first thought that comes to my mind when I hear the title too. 😉
