It looks cool Jeff, but this won’t do for me if this is all Marvel is bringing to their movie panel this year. Outside of the obvious AOU scenes which I’m excited to hear about, I want some Dr. Strange and Black Panther announcements period man. Since I started talking to you man it’s been a few years and I’ve been waiting years before that to get some Black Panthers news, announcements and confirmations.

so has comic con started? If not jeff, your homework assignment is one of those 10 click mega blow out posts (with pics of the um talent… if you are still permited to do so) with a good run down. lol. I still havent caught up with the happenings of E3. yeah I only looking forward to black panther news. the only other thing I want from marvel is about their netflix tv shows… all of them. If they dont, threaten with a car like rama( sorry but I wont forget that movie for a min) or waterbottles or crates. anything..

  • I doubt it man. At this point, I’d be more surprised if they didn’t make some form of a Black Panther announcement. He’s too prominent a character and MS needs to catch up a bit on the more divergent mindset of its comic book inspiration, which is reaching new heights in terms of diversity among its biggest characters.

  • Preview Night was yesterday so now is where the real meat starts coming in as far as news and announcements.
Yeah, I think I’ll work on something you’ll like for that as well as cosplayers in general.

Yeah Keith, so many of us are just waiting on Marvel to simply confirm a Black Panther film. Hell no one is asking or even expecting Kevin Feige and Marvel to make a Black Panther film tomorrow, just announce and confirm him already, let’s us know that he is really truly on your radar like he deserves to be, instead of all that played out PR talk saying we’re looking into him, to hell with that. I go off about it a little because I’m passionate about the character who’s great with a fantastic story and background, flat out one of the coolest and most influential comic book characters ever created. I’ve always said big props go out to the great Stan Lee and Jack Kirby for having not only bold and daring imaginations to created this character back in 1966, but also creating a black character who is not a stereotypical black superhero. They could have went wrong in so many ways with this character and did some disrespectful things in creating him, yet they gave the character nobility, royalty, intelligence and stature. I think they put as much thought, heart, passion and creativity in Black Panther as any other character they ever created, and for that those gentlemen will always have my deepest respect and gratitude. It really had to be a challenge to those guys back then, to create the first black comic book superhero, but they did and they created a masterpiece IMO. This is why I favor Marvel over DC(who I love to), because they have much better fleshed out diversity in their characters. With as much as possibly 8 films in ‘Phase 3’, Black Panther would certainly seem an obvious choice for one of those slots, If not Marvel will have made a horrible choice and will lose all my respect.

Jeff you are exactly right, and it’s not like we’re saying throw Black Panther in the mix because he’s black. Yeah that’s a part of it, but he happens to be a great character period and would add so much needed diversity to the MCU. Like Marvel is about to break new ground with GOTG, they would break even more ground introducing Black Panther. There is a reason people are talking about BP being brought to the big screen more than any other superhero who has not been on the big screen yet, including Wonder Woman. Every site and anywhere you go people talk about this guy hitting the big screen. Now if he was a terrible character he wouldn’t have this kind of demand, how else do you explain a black character getting this much love and attention. But hey I’m not going to complain, I’m just going to wait and see if Marvel is finally ready to give that brother some big screen love haha.

amen amen, clap clap. I agree. I still love the story where he was allowed to trap and test his skills against the FF. That means this man is not to be played with! I was glad to see him on the EMH. Yet nothing on the new one…. hmmmm. smells fishy to me. I am still not happy with doomwar and his time in hells kitchen and his instant divorce with storm. If thats the case then feel free to show him dating as a king or something. Its for this very reason, im trying out this anthology called STEAMFUNK! it seems that comics are getting in a rut again ( or that I buy the right ones as I like to read for free) but I see books are where im going for originality. I already expect nothing from DC. They gave us batwing and f that up. I mean if Namor is being talked about, how in the holy hell is not BP.

  • In the earlier FF cartoon, they did right by Black Panther too. Now, just time for the big screen version!

  • Fred

Yeah it is funny that BP is not in ‘Avengers Essemble’, but I do expect to see him in it sometime soon. Namor is cool and all but Black Panther blows him out the water, we’re certainly talking way more about Black Panther as the general consensus is, Marvel is just goofy trying to force feed us what they want to see more which is retarded at times.

That’s actually quite a detailed poster. Not just an ant and a date as you could expect from movies in the past.
