In all the excitement about season 3 of “Arrow” and the debuts of “Flash” and “Constantine,” I forgot about another show I’m very eager to start watching come 2015 – Marvel’s Agent Carter — featuring “Captain America: The First Avenger” star Hayley Atwell reprising her role as Peggy Carter.
Before that series kicks off next year, Atwell will be appearing on the season premiere of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” alongside Cap’s “Howling Commando” buddies Jim Morita (Kenneth Choi) and Dum Dum Dugan (Neal McDonough). I’d love to see them as well as Dominic Cooper’s Howard Stark as regular guests on “Agent Carter.”
“Coulson is a big student of history and wants to return to those old ideals of Agent Carter’s time,” says executive producer Jed Whedon told TVGuide.com. “He’s, like, ‘Let’s be the S.H.I.E.L.D. we were meant to be!’ He wants to do the job right this time.”
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” kicks off season 2 in a few more weeks on Sept. 23.
