Hot Toys Iron Legion ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ figure

Hot Toys Iron Legion figure - pair

I love the color scheme of the Iron Legion, Iron Man’s helpful drone armors seen early on in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron.’ I really like the look of these figures, but Hot Toys is really setting us up because we’ve got to get all five, right?

“We are here to help.”

In Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, the tech genius Tony Stark built new armored drones named Iron Legion to assist the Avengers during their missions. However, when Tony Stark tried to create the Ultron Program, the artificial intelligence rebelled and used the Iron Legion against Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in the Avengers Tower!

Hot Toys is pleased to officially introduce today the 1/6th scale Iron Legion Collectible Figure from the exciting blockbuster! The movie-accurate Iron Legion Collectible Figure is specially crafted based on its image in Avengers: Age of Ultron. It features a finely created armored body, metallic red, white, and blue colored on armor with weathered effects and Avengers decals, interchangeable armor parts, and a specially designed figure stand.

Build up your Avengers: Age of Ultron collection with this slim and sleek Iron Legion armor!

One Iron Legion figure will be enough for me Jeff, this and the Mark 45 will be preordered this weekend. So far I believe 11 figures from AOU have been put up for PO and I can easily see another 5-7 more figures released from this movie line. We should see close to 20 figures released from this film when it’s all said and done. On a related note AOU should be over 400 million domestic and 1.3 billion worldwide by Memorial Day and still counting. So while not quite the hit I thought it would originally be it’s definitely massive hit in every way, it should between 1.5 to 1.7 billion worldwide when all the final numbers are counted.

I am very surprised that they haven’t made all the panels with numbers on them separate(So you could have any of the drones in your collection by swapping the panels out).
    That’s a real shock.

Man and that’s not even including the Thor and the likely Scarlet Witch and Quiksilver. I counted again and think it’s 12 with War Machine!
That’s giving just enough room for Force Awakens to take the top spot?

Yeah I thought that was weird too. Wonder if they’ll make a two pack later on with the decals and other accessories.

I doubt it. They’ll probably do a five pack, or at best, release this one and never release any others…
