We got our first glimpse of Oscar Isaac as the titular character in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse,’ thanks to Entertainment Weekly, but the most impressive reveal was Olivia Munn’s Psylocke.
As far as comic to movie translations go, this shoots right up to the top of the list. Michael Fassbender’s Magneto continues to go in the wrong direction after the fantastic version teased at the end of ‘X-Men: First Class.’ Seriously, what is going on with that outfit?
Apocalypse looks a bit goofy (particularly that helmet area), but the homage to the character’s Egyptian roots is an interesting take. Storm won’t start off a charter member of the X-Men, but will instead, be one of Apocalypse’s servants along with another familiar face to X-Men fans.
What do you think and who are you most anticipating seeing on the big screen when ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ arrives May 27, 2016.
