Celebrate ‘Back to the Future Day’ with these collectibles

Just like that special moment for most 70s and 80s pop culture fans when the clock struck midnight and it was actually 1999, today is a special day.

Oct. 21, 2015 was the date Marty and Doc Brown traveled to in “Back to the Future II,” unofficially marking today for fans as “Back to the Future Day.” I’ll be reviewing the classic later on, but there’s a lot of great options for fans and for those wondering what the fuss is all about.

The toy you always wanted is finally here. Based on the 1989 Back to the Future II movie, this is the best toy DeLorean money can buy. Not only does it feature classic DMC engineering (like the gull-wing doors) and Doc Brown’s own special modifications, but our version of the DeLorean automobile also has the 2015 hover conversion kit.

I don’t remember if I asked you before Jeff, but do you have Hot Toys Marty McFly?

  • I don’t. That’s one I’m interested in seeing how far Hot Toys will go with the license before getting into it.

I see, yeah I have the exclusive version which sold out the first day it went up for PO. But the regular version is still available and I know they’re doing a BTTF2 Marty McFly, they need to do a Doc figure. I don’t know about Hot Toys releasing another DeLorean though, they should have just made this Delorean that’s about to release wheels turn inside instead of making a whole new vehicle. To release two cars that’s going to cost close to $800 is asking a lot from collectors, probably too much imo.
