As Hollywood’s brightest stars gathered to pose for pictures, line up their next projects, get tipsy and bask in their brilliance at the 2016 Golden Globes, The Revenant clearly emerged as the favorite to walk away with a slew of Academy Awards.

With Best Actor wins for star Leonardo DiCaprio, Best Director for and Best Motion Picture Drama, The Revenant nearly pitched a complete sweep (only losing out on the Best Original Score to The Hateful Eight — and that only seemed like an excuse to have a drunk Quentin Tarantino acceptance speech.)
