New Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trailer looks magical

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trailer carries on proud Potter tradition

Easily one of the fall’s most anticipated films is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Set within the Harry Potter universe with a script by J.K. Rowling and longtime Potter director David Yates (Legend of Tarzan), this has surefire hit written all over it. The latest Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trailer was released during the Olympics on Sunday. Movie studios who don’t want to pay the insane Superbowl rates must really love when the Olympics arrive.

The latest trailer offers a bit more insight into the world of writer Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) as he explores New York’s secret witch and wizards community. As a non-Potter book reader who got sucked into that universe, I’m pretty excited about checking this one out. Though I’m sure there’ll be more than a few Harry Potter Easter Eggs I’ll miss. I’ll definitely need to take an avid Potter fan with me when I check it out.

Colin Farrell looked pretty cool in his role of Percival Graves, who seems like the film villain. Carmen Ejogo (Selma) looked magnificently regal as Seraphina Picquery and I’m curious as to what role Ezra Miller’s Credence will play in the film.
