Cobie Smulders visits Fort Belvoir troops for Jack Reacher screening

I always like seeing and sharing these stories. Cobie Smulders (Avengers: Age of Ultron) visited with military service men and women and their families at Fort Belvoir in Virginia for a special screening of her new film Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.

While I’m sure Smulders had more than a few options of standard stops for the promotional effort of the film, I know the Fort Belvoir troops appreciated her dropping by.

Smulders plays Army Major Susan Turner, who’s been leading Reacher’s old investigative unit. After she gets arrested for treason, Reacher returns to help clear her name. Together, the duo attempt to out the major government conspiracy involving soldiers who are being killed.

Smulders is a smart addition to this Tom Cruise franchise. Hopefully she’ll have a more significant role than being this film’s female constantly amazed at Reacher’s actions.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back comes to theaters this Friday.
