Netflix announced its May 2017 new arrivals and departing series and films.
The May 2017 arrivals include a double dose of Benedict Cumberbatch. First is the fourth season of Sherlock, which debuts May 15. That’s followed up at the end of the month on May 30 with the acclaimed Doctor Strange where Cumberbatch becomes the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s latest hero.

The comedy drama Don’t Think Twice kicks off the month on May 1 and a couple of films I really liked Inglourious Basterds (May 22) and Southpaw (May 24) close out the month.
Netflix is getting quicker at getting newer shows with little delay as evidenced by the May 18 arrival of Riverdale. That’s the modernized spin on the Archie universe that’s become a popular show on the CW. Release dates aren’t available yet, but Supernatural Season 12, Supergirl Season 2 and The Flash Season 3 are also coming up.
In other TV news, Master of None returns for its second season May 12 followed by the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt kicks off its third season on May 19 and House of Cards Season 5 on May 30.
The first three installments of Jurassic Park are leaving Netflix on May 1. Catch up on all your Scrubs binging as the entire series is leaving on May 2. American Dad’s seasons 7-10 hit the road over the course of May 6-17 while Bob’s Burgers gets roasted on May 7. Fantastic Four, Invincible, 11 Blocks, Cujo, To Catch a Thief, The Weeding Planner and Things We Lost in the Fire are also leaving.
