Hack/Slash Resurrection #2

Hack/Slash Resurrection #2

In Issue #2 of Hack/Slash Resurrection Cassie Hack finds herself in a new role as a Camp Counselor to young children. Alongside fellow Counselor Laurie, she also learns that this locale may not just be the perfect location for camping, for the undead seem to be drawn to the area unbeknownst to others.

Still keeping the fun, gory, dark momentum of the previous issue, Resurrection keeps proving to be a series worth reviving. Cassie Hack is still very much that awkward, yet eager to kick ass heroine man have grown to love and this issue even hints at a love interest. The black comedy is still executed well and the drama is building up as readers learn why the undead are showing up. A major cliffhanger involving another beloved character at the end will leave established fans eager for the next issue.

Hack/Slash is highly recommended reading and I look forward to seeing this series again in December. — Pierre Brown
