Star Wars Rebels gets royal arrival for finale plus the last episode rollout schedule

Star Wars Rebels is winding down to its finale, but not without one more big surprise for fans.

Ian McDiarmid will be make his first appearance in the series in the role of his iconic character, The Emperor. I can’t wait to see how Rebels involves Palpatine into the fold.

Star Wars Rebels’ finale kicks off at 9 p.m. Feb. 19. There’s only three more weeks left for the Disney XD series with two back-to-back episodes leading up to the final 90-minute episode on March 5.

Here’s the episode run down:

Feb. 19: Jedi Night and DUME. Both episodes will be available on the DisneyNOW app (www.DisneyNOW.com) at 10 p.m.

Feb. 26: Wolves and a Door and A World Between Worlds.

March 5: A Fool’s Hope and Family Reunion — and Farewell

Viewers hoping to stay spoiler free won’t have to wait long if they miss episodes. They will be available on VOD and digital platforms the following day. Season 4 of Star Wars Rebels is also available on the DisneyNOW app.

The voice cast includes Freddie Prinze Jr. as Kanan, Vanessa Marshall as Hera, Steve Blum as Zeb, Tiya Sircar as Sabine, Taylor Gray as Ezra, Dee Bradley Baker as Captain Rex, David Oyelowo as Kallus, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as Governor Pryce, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Warwick Davis as Rukh.
