Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon
“The Amazing Spider-Man 2” Director Marc Webb is definitely keeping his Twitter followers involved in the making of what will no doubt be one of 2014′s biggest blockbusters.
Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn.
He recently shared two pics of the new additions to the cast: Jamie Foxx in his pre-Electro Max Dillon look and Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn.

Horror, Movie Reviews
Anna Hutchison, Bradley Whitford, Brian White, Chris Hemsworth, Fran Kranz, jesse williams, Joss Whedon, Kristen Connolly, Richard Jenkins, Serenity, The Cabin in the Woods, Thor
[From left] Curt (Chris Hemsworth), Holden (Jesse Williams), Jules (Anna Hutchison), Marty (Fran Kranz) and Dana (Kristen Connolly) in “THE CABIN IN THE WOODS.”
One of the reasons I like horror movies is because they’re simple. They feature some evil force whether some near indestructible boogeyman finding creative ways to kill teens or some creepy curse possessing people and slowly wiping them out. It’s a good and safe formula and one that’s worked pretty well for a long time.
To paraphrase Ke$ha (and how many times do you think those words have been uttered?) horror movies are what they are. Occasionally there’s room for a horror movie with a twist ending you don’t see coming like a “Friday the 13th” or “Scream,” but since horror fans are the least demanding fans, it’s not necessary.
Director/Writer Drew Goddard (“Lost”) and co-writer Joss Whedon (“Serenity”) unite to put a new spin on the genre with “The Cabin in the Woods,” a hodgepodge of every horror cliché with a bit of reality TV thrown just for fun. More

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) readies for another battle.
It’s not too soon to start getting hyped up for the second phase of the Avengers initiative, is it?
Walt Disney announced a number of updates on their record-breaking franchise including the not-too shocking announcement that “Thor: The Dark World” will be arriving on Nov. 8, 2013 in 3D. The 2011 original had some 3D elements, but it wasn’t essential to the experience. I’m hoping this second go-round, the filmmakers will really go nuts with making it a complete 3D experience. More

Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, Hot Toys, Iron Man, Loki, Marvel's The Avengers, Robert Downey Jr., Thor
Well, you knew it was just a matter of time before Hot Toys delivered everyone’s favorite Armored Avenger for its “Marvel’s The Avengers” 12″ collectable line. They’ve already done Loki, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye and Black Widow so now’s as good a time as any to showcase a lot of people’s favorite character – Iron Man. More

Batman, Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, Hot Toys, Joker, Loki, Lt. Gordon, Marvel's The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, Thor
Hot Toys is going to be at the annual Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong event starting Friday. They’ve announced some pretty anticipated figures from both their “Marvel’s The Avengers” line – see Loki, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye and Black Widow here as well as “The Dark Knight Rises” [see their work on Batman, Bane, the Joker, Lt. Gordon and the Bat-pod] but today they offered a teaser of one of my favorite characters from The Avengers and it may be the first time I’m this excited to see what a guy in a suit looks like… More

Chris Hemsworth, Hot Toys, Marvel's The Avengers, Thor
Hot Toys’ has concocted a brilliant plan to break my wallet in 2012 as they continue pumping out these awesome “Marvel’s The Avengers” collectible figures. This time with their amazing work on Thor.
I’ve already shown you the Hot Toys’ Loki figure so now it’s time to show his brother, Thor.
And not surprising at all for anyone who’s followed Hot Toys, this is about as perfect as 12″ reproduction of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor as you can get without using a shrink ray.
About the only nitpick I can make here is that this is the final battle version of Thor with the armor covering the arms so you won’t be able to re-enact the “Shakespeare in the Park” stand-off with Iron Man and Captain America.
Here’s the official writeup:
Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys are proud to present the Thor Sixth Scale Limited Edition Sixth Scale figure from Marvel Studios’ The Avengers movie. The film-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Chris Hemsworth as Thor, highlighting the newly developed head sculpt, highly detailed costume, accessories and signature mjolnir.
If you’re interested, you can take a further look or buy Thor from the good folks at Sideshow Collectibles.
