Dear Mr. Lyles
I am Brian, your BIGGEST movie/movie rating/movie reviewing fan who is a BIG fan of YOU!!!!
I am just getting adjusted to your website and Zi am already your biggest fan! You seem to be a really cool, awesome, and a really nice man!
I was wondering though besides The Avengers (which you and I both saw and totally LOVED!), the Amazing-Spider-Man(admit it if you want to),and The Dark Knight Rises(admit it if you want to) , which summer film are you excited and anticipated to see the most?
Here are all of the films that I am (really) excited and anticipated to see this summer
1). Disney*Pixar’s latest film Brave-It’s a Pixar film…what else could I say?
2). The Amazing-Spider-Man(I have not all three Spider-Man movies yet,but I will soon! Until I see the three Spider-Man films, I will be really excited in seeing Spider-Man’s story for the first time-I’m really excited to see this film)
3).The Bourne Legacy-So what if Matt Damon is out of the film series…now we’ve got Jeremy Renner as a new CIA agent…I wonder how Jeremy Rebner will do in this film compared to Matt Damon’s performance(s) in the past three three films?
4).Ice Age:Continential Drift-I liked all three Ice Age films…and I kind of can’t wait for this (third) sequel!!
5).Madagascar 3:Europe’s Most Wanted-Like the Ice Age films…Madagascar seems to have the perfect amount of dumb childish humor that’s impossible to laugh at…I guess I feel this way because I’ve got some dumb humor that just impossible to laugh at as well! But I think since I’m fifteen years old..and I’m kind of getting old to watch these kids’ films…I think I will just wait until Madagascar 3 comes out DVD…then when it’s on DVD..I will see it….
6). The Expendables 2-I haven’t seen the first film..but I know the characters well enough to hopefully be allowed to see this film(because I’m only 15-years old)…and hopefully the violence isn’t AS violent as Safe House(which is a really entertianing film that’s sometimes convoluted and confusing because of government theories and conspireses…I do give Safe House a B+)
7). The Odd Life Of Timothy Green-It just looks like it will be a very sweet, touching, heartwarming film/story! I just want to see it!
8). People Like Us-It just looks like it could be another sweet, touching, and a heartwarming film/story! Like The Odd Life Timothy Green, I just want to see People Like Us…I also do want to see The Odd Life Of Timothy Green!
Well, that’s my list for the films that I am excited and anitcipated to see this summer in the theater! What’s your list for the films that you want to see this summer in the theater?
Also….what are your thoughts and grades for all of the Pixar that YOU remember seeing, including Toy Story 3 and your thoughts on Disney*Pixar’s new film Brave?
Also what are your thoughts and grades for Despicable Me, Spider Man 1-3, and We Bouht A Zoo?
Well I got to go…my iPod is almost our of battery..so until next time, I’m Brian -your 15-year old movie fan who is a BIG fan of YOU!!!!
So Long Mr.Lyles
Ps. I hope to hear from you very, very soon…
Your 15-year old movie and movie rating/movie reviewing fan!
Brian!

Heya Brian,
Feel free to call me Jeffrey or Jeff. Thanks for the kind words.
I actually saw one of the movies you’ve got on your must-see list tonight. Review will be up on Friday [cheap plug]. You should definitely check out Madagascar 3. I haven’t been a fan of the series, but it’s worth seeing in theaters and in 3D.
For me it’s:
- The Dark Knight Rises [haven't seen a bad Christopher Nolan movie yet]
-The Amazing Spider-Man [I'm mostly intrigued with it since Spidey is cracking jokes, my favorite aspect of the character that wasn't in the previous trilogy]
-The Expendables 2 – I LOVED the first one and the second one has more Willis, Schwarzenegger and Chuck Norris? Sold!
-I like Chris Pine and am checking out “People Like Us” tomorrow so I’m hopeful it will be good. Seems like it could be.
I need to add in my old Pixar reviews. Think I’ll take your suggestion and make “Toy Story 3″ this week’s Film Flashback. I’ll keep adding my old Pixar reviews on the site, but TS3 is my favorite, followed by “The Incredibles.”
I’ll be posting all three Spidey reviews in the next two weeks to countdown the new one. I really liked Despicable Me and plan to pick it up on Blu-Ray come the next sale and I’ve yet to see “We Bought a Zoo.”
Thanks again for writing in and talk to you soon!
