Hot Toys "Marvel's The Avengers" Loki collectible figure

In a perfect world, I would be overpaid like athletes and mediocre movie stars and have millions to waste on every whim that came to mind. One said whim would be a wing in the Maryland mansion for my Hot Toys collection.

Hot Toys makes without a doubt the world’s best collectible figures. The amount of detail they put into each figure is insane. I’m not clear if they just have the best sculptors the world will ever see or they have teeny, tiny elves magically putting their figures together.

After looking at how eerily similar this 12″ figure resembles Tom Hiddleston, who played Loki, I’m kinda leaning towards the latter.

 Seriously, Hot Toys has the 12″ figure market locked up right now. These are so well done you can’t really classify them as figures and are actually worthy of the designation “collectible.”  They aren’t cheap, but this is definitely a case where you’re getting your money’s worth.

While I won’t be getting a wing anytime soon, I’m too big a fan of “The Avengers” not to look into at least a few of these. Loki looks to be as good a gateway figure as any, right?
