Celebrity Encounters: Meeting WWE superstar Sheamus
A few days ago, I asked for your encounters with celebrities, however random or carefully planned out they may be. Mrwrestlingdude kicks things off with his encounter with WWE Superstar and former champion Sheamus:
I went to Money In The Bank here in Phoenix in 2012 and learned that Sheamus was doing a signing here the day before at an outdoor mall. I really wanted to go, but these were unfortunate circumstances, seeing as it was the middle of summer in Arizona OUTSIDE.
My mom however, being the awesome mom she is agreed to take me 
. The signing was only set to take place for one hour, but I would estimate 500 to 700 people showed up so I’m glad I was early.
Sheamus walked out and he started signing/meeting immediately. It was just awesome to see him and I was marking out inside, but I kept my composure, addressed him respectfully, (not calling him by his real name or anything stupid like that) Come to think of it I just said, ‘Hey fella how you doing?’ in my best Irish accent, which wasn’t very good, even though I’m more than half Irish 
and he said ‘Good. Nice to meet you.’ I’m not surprised he didn’t say much, he had to keep the line moving after all.
I was thrilled nonetheless I brought a poster of alot of WWE Superstars I found at Walmart a couple weeks ago and he signed where his head was. I also brought my World Heavyweight Championship belt, not expecting him to sign it, just thought it was fitting seeing as he was champion at the time. But to my surprise he signed that too and took a picture with me which was beyond cool I thanked him gratefully and I was on my way.
