Hot Toys reveals Sylvester Stallone's Barney Ross figure from "The Expendables 2"
While it didn’t do as well as the first installment, I really enjoyed “The Expendables 2.” More films should just aspire to do what they do well without trying to go beyond their reach. Besides, it’s hard to mess up a film where 80s action stars blow a whole bunch of stuff up, right?
Hot Toys revealed its first collectible figure from the film, fittingly based off of Expendables leader Barney Ross (played of course by Sylvester Stallone). Not surprisingly it’s another in a predictably excellent offering from Hot Toys. 
In a first for my HT experience, Barney has two outfit choices. Depending on your comfort level, this may steer Barney too far into “doll” category for some collectors, but it’s a nice option provided Hot Toys follows up with more non-black attire for the other Expendables.
Following the great response to the Barney Ross Collectible Figure of The Expendables movie, Hot Toys is proud to present the 1/6th scale Barney Ross Collectible Figure from its sequel The Expendables 2. The movie-accurate Barney Ross collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Sylvester Stallone in the movie, highlighting the newly developed head sculpt, body tattoo, two styles of costume, detailed accessories and weapons.
