Hot Toys gets patriotic with Captain America – The Star Spangled Man figure
Here’s a more detailed look of the Hot Toys Captain America Star Spangled Man 12″ figure. It’s supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek figure (it’s even got the script on the back of the shield!), but this is more my Captain America and I kinda want it if for no other reason.
Too bad there’s no Hawkeye movie so we could get a more comic-accurate figure from Hot Toys too…

The Star Spangled Man with a Plan. It was a memorable and entertaining moment to see Captain America performing during this catchy song in Captain America: The First Avenger. As it was a rather notable scene in the film, we are excited to introduce the 1/6th scale Captain America (Star Spangled Man Version) Limited Edition Collectible Figurine as one of the 2013 Toy Fairs Exclusive items.
Fans will be able to mimic the scenes where Captain America is promoting war bonds for the government.
The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Chris Evans as Captain America in his Star Spangled Man costume in the movie. It features a newly developed head sculpt, highly detailed costume, weapons and accessories.
It’s such a cool figure. I will be trying to get one to go on my Cap shelf.
