New concept art for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" – the major fight scene

As we close in on the San Diego Comic Con, we’re getting more tidbits of two of the more anticipated films that will be spotlighted at the event — Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”

Way back in April, I looked at the concept art for the 2014 offerings for Marvel’s Phase 2 films and now here’s a look at another “Winter Soldier” piece featuring a suited-up Captain America (Chris Evans) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) against a squad led by The Winter Soldier (whose identity I’ll continue to avoid mentioning for the non-comic book readers out there).captain-america-the-winter-soldier-new-concept-art

Doesn’t look like there’s many changes to Cap’s uniform. I was kinda hoping for the outfit’s grey to be removed.

The Winter Soldier looks like he’s straight out of the comic book (almost my first choice) and I’m very interested to see how the character is portrayed in the film.

On the other hand, Falcon (flying in the far left background) looks like he’s in a boring black/grey combo attire, which isn’t nearly as interesting as his comic book outfit and almost makes him look to similar to The Winter Soldier’s costume.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier” comes to theaters April 4, 2014.
