Gal Gadot signed on for three films as Wonder Woman
Fast and Furious 6 co-star Gal Gadot, who we already knew was going to be playing Wonder Woman/Diana Prince in Batman vs. Superman, is going to be reprising the role in at least two more films.
Variety confirms that Warner Bros. Pictures signed Gadot to a three-picture deal, which includes Batman vs. Superman, the superhero throw down that will now open in May 2016.
The deal naturally includes the long rumored Justice League film, but perhaps even more intriguing is a standalone Wonder Woman movie.

No news on which will arrive in theaters first, but I think it’d be more interesting to make audiences want to see a standalone Wonder Woman film by making her a great character we can’t wait to see on her own.
It could be similar to how Marvel’s The Avengers made Hulk seem more interesting than either of his previous solo films. Now people are anticipating the next Hulk film.
In this regard, Warner Bros. could have an edge on Marvel Studios if they’re careful in how they roll out Wonder Woman from a good idea into a bankable franchise like her fellow “DC triumvirate” members Superman and Batman.
