4. Arrow could serve as a link from
the movies to the comic books
I know that sounds weird since Arrow is on a TV show and not a movie, but Arrow is currently the only DC property that reflects the tone and spirit of the new DC Comics Universe.
The Superman in Man of Steel didn’t match up to the one currently in the comics — a missed opportunity for DC since the film grossed nearly $670 million worldwide — so interested audiences didn’t see the same Superman in comic books that they enjoyed in the theaters. Arrow is much closer to the comics version and could serve as a better gateway to get the movie audience to the comic book stores.
