More baddies coming to “Batman v. Superman”?
That’s the new rumor, but these aren’t big flashy bad guys. Instead, these four possible new cast additions would help flesh out the film as opposed to needing serious camera time in an already crowded movie.
According to Latino Review, joining Superman (Henry Cavill) and Batman (Ben Affleck) will be serial killer Victor Zsazs, who had a blink and you’ll miss cameo in Christopher Nolan’s “Batman Begins.” Zsazs is an especially twisted member of Batman’s Rogue gallery as for every kill he makes, he slashes another notch on his body.
Also joining the cast is Morgan Edge,a shady Lexcorp publicist, the assassin David Cain and senator Amanda Waller. While the new 52 opted to make her a gorgeous supermodel, I hope the film version of “The Wall” is a lot more like her old school comic counterpart.
LR states that Edge and Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) will work together as a result of old gang ties and Cain will be working with Luthor.
With the recent announcement of Scoot McNairy (“Killing Them Softly” joining the cast, we may now have an idea of which role he’ll be filling. He’d make for a solid Edge, heck Cain or even Zsazs.
I don’t mind these additions as they’re all nice complimentary players and tools for Luthor to use in his battle against The World’s Finest.
What do you think of the news? May as well add in more or have you heard enough for a film that’s not coming out until 2016?
These are solid additions. Love Zasz, a proper dark villain.
Yep and one who can be taken out quickly to show off Batman’s fighting and detective skills.
Is it just me or does it feel like they’re trying to cram every character in the DC universe into this one movie?
Just half ;-)
The rest are showing up in “Justice League.”
I don’t mind assigning bit roles to actual DC characters and Waller, Edge and Cain are preferable to random Senator B, nondescript employee A or generic assassin S.
