Hot Toys unleashes "X-Men: Days of Future Past" Wolverine figure #XMEN
This is some excellent timing since “X-Men: Days of Future Past” was just released on Blu-Ray/DVD this week, but the gang at Hot Toys revealed its Wolverine from the latest mutant extravaganza.
The figure is based off of future Wolverine with the body armor/orange accents to have some connection with his comic book costume. HT seems to be a bit reluctant to make more X-Men figures than Wolverine and I wonder if a Michael Fassbender Magneto wouldn’t have been a better choice to kick off the DOFP line. Regardless it’s a great looking figure.
The X-Men has returned onto the big screen earlier this year with the critically-acclaimed and highly-popular X-Men: Days of Future Past! With the mutant race being exterminated by powerful Sentinels in the future, Wolverine was sent back to the past in order to stop the war before it began and save his kind from the terrible fate.
To celebrate the launch of this hit movie’s DVD and Blu-Ray, Hot Toys is delighted to present the new 1/6th scale Wolverine Collectible Figure from X-Men: Days of Future Past. The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Hugh Jackman as the future Wolverine in the movie featuring a newly developed head sculpt, specially-tailored future Wolverine battle suit with armor parts and Wolverine’s signature metal claws.

Nice. As always, the next Wolverine has the best sculpt yet. I like the sculpt(and will likely pick one or two heads up for customs), but the future figure itself i can leave.

This would be one I’d probably go back and get if they make a Magneto, which I know from the timeline makes no sense, but Fassbender Mag > Ian McKellen Mag for figure purposes.
I get it. I still have my fingers crossed that they eventually bring out the First Class Prof X…
He was rumored or did they have a prototype for him? Feel like I remember hearing a little about that.
It was rumoured to be out shortly and they rolled out a prototype in 2012 that went to a few shows and then disappeared… It was an incredible sculpt.
I want that Prof X figure, lol!

Thats right! I remember him now. They really do need to get that out for us!
HT doesn’t seem to be reluctant to make other X-Men figures they ARE reluctant to make more X-Men figures my friend haha. The new Wolverine figures looks good, but damn will HT ever make any other X-Men figures besides him. They must be hesitant on making other characters because they sense a lack of interest in them, it has to be, why else would they go on for so long only making Wolverine figures. Say what you will about the many Iron Man figures made, but at least when it comes to the MCU Hot Toys makes figures of all of their characters. I don’t expect to see an assembly line of X-Men characters made, but it would be cool to at least see figures of Professor X, Magneto, Storm and Mystique get made.
Storm I could take or leave. Beast would be pretty cool though.
