Capcom giving ‘Resident Evil 0’ the HD remaster treatment

Resident_Evil_0_screens_03_bmp_jpgcopyAfter the record breaking success of ‘Resident Evil HD’ earlier this year, Capcom is bringing out its HD remaster wand on another popular entry in the series – Resident Evil 0. I know, you were hoping for Resident Evil 2, weren’t you? But hey, with this franchise it’s hard for Capcom to go wrong.

Resident Evil 0 puts players in the shoes of two protagonists—S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team’s resourceful but green rookie Rebecca Chambers, and Billy Coen, an ex-Navy lieutenant on death row.

Learning the advantages of each character will be key to surviving the nightmare. The HD remaster will feature gorgeously upgraded HD visuals and sound, with toggle-able aspect ratio (16:9 or classic 4:3) and an optional updated control scheme.
The new title takes the fear-inducing atmosphere from the original 2002 release and transforms it with stunning new HD visuals, improved sound, widescreen support and an optional modernized control system. Both series fans and newcomers alike can experience the story of what really happened before the iconic mansion incident that was the catalyst for the entire Resident Evil saga.

‘Resident Evil 0’ comes out early next year for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
