In an unprecedented twist, most of the complaints about the Israeli star’s casting was not her ethnicity, but about her smaller stature.

Let that sink in for a bit: folks are upset because an actress isn’t big enough. Madness. But I’ll take that over forced PC! rants any day.

Turns out fans were right not to gripe much about Gadot’s casting as she’s been easily one of the bright spots of the beleaguered DC Extended Universe. She embodies the character and rivals some of the best work Marvel Studios has done with its exemplary casting. Gadot will be back for Wonder Woman 1984 whenever it finally gets released in theaters.
