Charlize Theron in talks to join Furious 8 to set up dream match of Furious crew vs Italian Job

Someone needs to check Mark Wahlberg, Mos Def and Seth Green’s calendar because Stella and Handsome Rob could be reunited in Furious 8.

Charlize Theron is reportedly being courted to play the lead villain in the New York based film directed by F. Gary Gray. Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese and Theron’s The Italian Job co-star Jason Statham are already set to appear in the film.

The Furious franchise has never been shy about reaching for major stars and in most cases landing them to appear in the series.

Coming off the action extravaganza Mad Max: Fury Road, Theron may be even hotter career wise than when she landed the Best Actress Oscar in 2004 for Monster.

Making this even more interesting? The Italian Job’s director was none other than Gray. Let the speculation begin. I can already see the epic throwdown of Michelle Rodriguez vs Theron.
