Poe to the Rescue kicks off Star Wars Force Awakens prelude
Don’t know about the rest of you, but I’ve been dying to learn more of the events that preceded Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens. Now thanks to LEGO Star Wars, we’ll start to see some of those questions answered.
Poe to the Rescue kicks off LEGO Star Wars: The Resistance Rises, a series of all-new animated shorts that take place before the events in the film and will feature some of your favorites from Finn, Han Solo, Kylo Ren, Rey, BB-8 and Maz Kanata. This installment explores how Poe Dameron has to rescue Admiral Ackbar from the clutches of Captain Phasma. Look for cameos by Kylo Ren, BB-8 and R2-D2.

You won’t have to wait long as Poe to the Rescue airs right after Disney XD’s “Gravity Falls” finale at 8 p.m. Feb. 15. For now, check out the trailer.
