Wrestlemania 27
April 3, 2011 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia
Try as he might, the WWE champion The Miz had become an afterthought heading into Wrestlemania. The WWE fans’ imagination was captured by the inevitable encounter between The Rock and John Cena, who’d been engaged in a war of words leading up to the big event.
Despite his best efforts, The Miz seemed poised to be the ex-champion by the end of the match until The Rock shocked the fans by giving Cena a Rock Bottom allowing The Miz to stunningly defend his title.

Surrounded by his family and the people, The People’s Champ proved the better man sending Cena to contemplate his future career direction.
Wrestlemania 29
April 7, 2013 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey
Not satisfied with his Wrestlemania 28 loss, Cena challenged The Rock to a rematch — the first Wrestlemania to have a return encounter in the main event. This time the odds were higher as The Rock defeated CM Punk to become the new WWE Champion. But summoning motivation from two consecutive Wrestlemania losses at the hands of The Rock, Cena rose to the challenge and defeated The Rock and become the new WWE Champion.
