Stephen Amell says Arrow’s dead character is staying dead

While pulling double duty hyping the season finale of Arrow and the release of his new film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Stephen Amell had a lively conversation with Larry King for Larry King Now about Arrow’s dead character and the finale.

I’ve mentioned earlier there is a pretty cool way Katie Cassidy can return to the show and this upcoming episode of The Flash looks to begin that process with the arrival of the Earth-2 version of Laurel Lance. Whether she’s a good guy or villain remains to be seen, but for Arrow either way could be interesting. Team Arrow battling a more skilled evil Black Canary could make for a pretty solid Season 4 story arc.

Regarding the season finale, that seems to be a tease concerning Damien Darhk’s Genesis plan. It’s hard to imagine a nuclear fallout, but possibly HIVE’s secret hideaway could vanish forcing Arrow, Diggle and Felicity to spend a portion of next season searching for Thea, which would help further thin out the cluttered Team Arrrow and provide and easy to follow objective for Season 5.

Here’s the episode synopsis:
