Flash star Candice Patton coming to Baltimore Comic Con

Candice Patton is latest guest announcement for BCC’2016

Just in case Maryland area pop culture fans needed any more encouragement to attend Baltimore Comic Con. The Flash’s Candice Patton was just announced as a guest for this year’s event. For some folks I know that alone would be worth the price of admission.

Candice Patton coming to Baltimore Comic Con

Baltimore Comic-Con returns to the Inner Harbor’s Baltimore Convention Center on September 2-4, 2016. The Baltimore Comic-Con is privileged to announce our newest guest, star of The Flash, Candice Patton. Ms. Patton will be joining us on Saturday, September 2nd and Sunday, September 3rd. Tickets for the show and Ms. Patton are available now!

Candice Patton stars in The CW series The Flash, a spin-off of the popular Arrow on the same network. Her character, Iris West, is an investigative reporter at Picture News, and her long-time best friend is Barry Allen (a.k.a The Flash). Candice’s father, police detective Joe West, works with Barry on the police force, and raised Candice and Barry after the death of Barry’s mother and the incarceration of his father.

BCC has been great about getting TV and movie stars out every year. In addition to Patton, Sean Astin has also been announced. Astin has been in at least something pop culture fans hold near and dear. From Goonies to The Lord of The Rings trilogy to 24, Astin has done a little of everything.

The Flash star Candice PattonCompared to some convention guests, autographs for Patton and Astin are priced pretty reasonable at $40. I’m more of a picture guy myself so I’d be more interested on that front. VIP Packages, which include unique badge, Fastpass lines, Premium VIP seating at panel in addition to the autograph/photo of Astin or Patton are also available for $120.

I’ve been covering Baltimore Comic Con every year since I’ve started the site, but I was a fan long before. It remains one of my favorites and is definitely worth checking out if you haven’t attended.
