Bullet Club, Harlem Heat, Nakamura coming to Mattel WWE line
Mattel WWE reveals exciting additions
Mattel’s WWE line is getting some major reinforcements that will please both legends and current collectors. In all honesty Mattel is never going to top the year it announced Sting, Hulk Hogan and Razor Ramon. This year’s reveals were solid. The names definitely helped flesh out rosters, both old and new, thanks to some phenomenal additions.

On the Flashback/Legends front we’re getting some much needed New Generation stars. Goldust is probably the most significant as the biggest available New Generation heel left.
Getting Tatanka also helps on that front since he can do double duty as a face and heel from his Million Dollar Corporation days.
Boogeyman fills in that odd period of Flashbacks that Mattel hasn’t fully committed to with Umaga.

For 80s fans were getting Brutus ‘The Barber’ Beefcake. That’s a great choice as he’s one of the remaining big name solo face stars left. Hopefully Mattel will revisit him for a Dream Team with Greg Valentine.
Cactus Jack finally gets reinserted after his will he?/won’t he status for Hall of Fame 3.
Harlem Heat was expected eventually since Mattel announced Stevie Ray was signed. It’s still good to finally see them an add to the WCW tag team ranks.

On the modern front, we got expected additions. There’s AJ Styles from his Royal Rumble debut along with a slew of NXT stars. Mattel went all out with AJ giving us Basic and Elite figures.

The rest of his Bullet Club teammates, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, are stuck in a Battle Pack. At least Anderson won’t be terribly difficult to make into an Elite. Alexa Bliss, American Alpha, The Revival and Asuka highlight the other main current star additions.
The other main highlight has to be Shinsuke Nakamura. His Elite whenever it gets released looks outstanding.
