4 WWE stars who could be the next face of RAW after John Cena era
The odds on favorite
After a failed bid at giving the torch to the Ultimate Warrior in the post-Hogan years, WWE granted Bret Hart the reigns for some time. Though face at the time, Bret wasn’t the squeaky clean white-meat babyface that Hulk Hogan was for his time. Progressively, the face(s) of the company became much more ‘edgier’ and ‘cooler’ as the proverbial torch was passed to Austin and The Rock.
The face of the WWE is exemplary of the product put out, which is in turn a creation of the time period in which it exists. As we enter this New Era, an era of 2016’s frank cynicism, we must move from an idol of the children to a Superstar who can maintain that cutting edge with consistent mass appeal.

Though now passionately booed, ROMAN REIGNS can be that Superstar. A solid in-ring worker with good looks and tremendous size, a change of ring gear and attitude can help Roman take the top spot with ease. Mr. Cena (the bane of the older WWE fan) would be a stellar opponent to help raise the stock of Reigns in the eyes of adult fans. Whichever route creative chooses, they must navigate with caution and bite back the instinct to shove him down the fans’ throats.
