A Different Way of Going about Things

Since the beginning of wrestling’s storied history, the face of the industry has always been a man. As wrestling quickly widens its reach and its audience, why not a woman? The roster, while still smaller than the men’s, is as large and competitive as it’s been in years and two times as talented. Wrestlemania 32 featured a four star women’s match. Even now, it’s hard to fully believe that happened. The Women’s Revolution, while thankfully having lost its branding, is finally gaining the impressive traction many of us hoped it would one day.

It starts with the Four Horsewomen. Four females with the staying power and talent to headline any WWE program. Yes, there’s bias here, but to me it’s SASHA BANKS who could snatch the top spot. While her mic skills could use some refinement, she has the inimitable look and support to stand in the place of legends.

Just have a look at the RAW intro; Sasha closes it. The lasting image before the action on every Monday night is The Boss. It would take nothing short of miraculous progression, but if the course stays true Sasha could do what no woman has ever done before. Become the next face of Raw or Smackdown.
