Hot Toys teases Rogue One Chirrut Imwe figure

While the prospect of a new Star Wars film every year sounds like overkill, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has me pretty interested. Part of that reason is the diverse cast including Donnie Yen’s Chirrut Imwe.

Hot Toys has revealed some Stormtrooper specialists, but now they’ve shown their first teaser of this special Rebel mission force. Here’s the Hot Toys tease: 

‘I fear nothing. All is as the Force wills it.’

Star Wars fans, it is time to get ready as you will soon meet Hot Toys’ highly detailed 1/6th scale collectible figure of the incredible spiritual warrior from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story featuring the likeness of Hong Kong actor and martial artist Donnie Yen!

I’m more likely to grab Rogue One figures over Force Awakens characters for one big reason. Unlike the new trilogy, these characters won’t have multiple best outfit options. 

My preferred look for Rey, Finn and Poe might be their Episode 9 outfits so I’ve got to approach this strategically. 

Right now, the Rogue One costumes look a little more interesting too. Hopefully we’ll see the full figure and more of his allies in the coming weeks.
