After you’ve wrapped up with Black Friday, get set for Sing Saturday.
Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures are feeling pretty confident in the film as they’ve partnered with AMC Theatres for a nationwide free screening the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
No worries, you don’t have to sing to see the film. All you’ve gotta do is be among the first 200 people in line at 200 AMC Theaters nationwide 10 a.m. on Nov. 26. Catch the screening and you’ll see it nearly a month before the animation film from the creators of Minions arrives in theaters Dec. 21.

Here’s the synopsis for the film:
Set in a world like ours but entirely inhabited by animals, Sing stars Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey), a dapper koala who presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. Buster is an eternal—some might even say delusional—optimist who loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Now faced with the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he has one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition.
Five lead contestants emerge believing that this is their shot to change the course of their life. And as Buster coaches each of his contestants closer and closer to the grand finale, he starts to learn that maybe the theater isn’t the only thing that is in need of saving.
Sing boasts over 65 hit songs so it’s sure to have a number of musical selections that will have audiences humming, bopping their heads or tapping their toes. Probably a safe bet that there won’t be a lot of material from Eminem.
