Star Wars Battlefront reveals new Rogue One inspired DLC Scarif

Star Wars Battlefront players certainly haven’t lacked for most impressive updates. DICE/Electronic Arts announced the latest expansion pack Scarif for Season Pass holders.

Arriving on Dec. 6, this is the game’s final expansion pack. With an arrival set 10 days before Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, it’s fitting that Scarif features content inspired by the film.

The packs takes players across four new maps as well as the Beaches of Scarif, a new tropical planet packed with Imperial troopers.

Players won’t have to go through additional hoops to play as the film’s main characters Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic. Additionally, Scarif marks the debut of a new multi-stage game mode with space and ground combat.

To further help you get excited for Rogue One, the Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission for PlayStation VR is also launching on Dec. 6.

That free DLC allows players to experience life in an X-Wing cockpit and battle through the galaxy far far away in virtual reality.
