Silence giveway – free passes for new Martin Scorsese film

It’s hard not to get too excited for a Martin Scorsese movie. Especially one that finds him collaborating with Liam Neeson. Silence is one of those heavily-touted films that could be a major player come Oscar season. Lyles Movie Files is giving readers in the District, Maryland and Virginia area a chance to see the film early with a special Silence giveaway.

Here’s the screening information:

Tuesday, January 3
7:00 PM
AMC Mazza Gallerie
5300 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC

Here’s more info on the film:

Martin Scorsese’s SILENCE tells the story of two Christian missionaries (Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver) who face the ultimate test of faith when they travel to Japan in search of their missing mentor (Liam Neeson) – at a time when Christianity was outlawed and their presence forbidden. The celebrated director’s 28-year journey to bring Shusaku Endo’s 1966 acclaimed novel to life will be in theaters this Christmas.

I’m always down for a Neeson (The Grey) movie and stars Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver are getting a lot of good buzz too. If you’re interested, all you’ve gotta do is click this link.

As with all screenings, the Silence giveaway tickets don’t guarantee a seat so make sure you arrive early.

Silence comes to theaters Jan. 6.
