Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 gets upgrade for PS4, XBox One
My brother is a fighting game addict. One of the few he swears by to the point he kept his old system just to play it was Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Now he can finally play it on the current gen systems as Capcom is releasing the game for PS4 and Xbox One.
The Marvel vs Capcom series was one of the more popular franchises of the last console wars and the ability to pit Ryu, Chun-Li, Chris Redfield, Strider and Mega Man against heroes like Captain America, Wolverine and Spider-Man made it a major hit. Now the classic game gets a next gen makeover.
It actually works out best for latecomers as Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 comes with all of the DLC, the Marvel vs. Capcom: Official Complete Works art book as well as a full HD 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second visual upgrade.

That means you’ve got 50 characters between the two universes to battle in thousands of combinations. Additionally, you can use Spectator Mode where you can simply watch some of the best battle online.
Best of all might be the price. You can play Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 right now for $25 for the digital version on PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Prefer the hard copy? You can pick it up in stores March 7 for $30.
For the additional $5 you’ll get updated cover art and a new comic with art by Sean Chen and Gerardo Sandoval. The 10-page story further explores the story of the two universes colliding.
