For its April theme month, Image Comics naturally decided to have a little April Fools action. Check out what the creative teams came up with for these variant covers.

Image Comics is having a little fun with its April Fools variants covers. I always appreciate covers that spoof popular pieces rather than outright rip them off. I was able to make out some over the covers, but I didn’t recognize others.

The Sons of the Devil one is especially creative as it involves former Flash artist, Brian Buccellato, and plays off the often derided New 52. And I really love the Invincible cover as well.

Throughout 2017, Image is doing special anniversary theme variants each month. This is a pretty fun one and it should be fun to see what the Image creative teams come up with for the April Fools theme.
