40 Years of Star Wars pays moving tribute to Carrie Fisher
There was no way the 40th anniversary of Star Wars was going to be held with a tribute to the princess. As part of the 40 Years of Star Wars, a special Carrie Fisher tribute was shown. It’s awesome and worthy of arguably the most iconic female in sci-fi.

Fisher wrapped up all her scenes for Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi and I bet it’s going to have that same kind of bittersweet feel as it was watching Furious 7 every time Paul Walker was on screen.
With Fisher’s family giving Disney permission to use her likeness in Episode 9 chances are good we’ll see Princess Leia one final time.
The 40 Years of Star Wars is shaping up to be a mega event. Hopefully by the culmination of the anniversary spectacular we’ll get our first trailer for The Last Jedi.
