Baywatch just held an epic SloMo Marathon that turned into a reunion

You can’t knock the promotional machine that is the new Baywatch movie. Paramount’s promotional team is on point with the potential summer blockbuster. The latest was a SloMo marathon held Saturday at LA Live in Los Angeles. The Baywatch SlowMo Marathon was a ‘grueling’ 0.3km that competitors had to run entirely in slow motion.

Along with its iconic red swimsuits, the SloMo run was definitely a staple of the show. And it’s not like folks in LA needed an excuse to show off their beach ready bodies.[irp]

To help celebrate the SloMo event, tars from Baywatch past and present were on hand. Film stars Zac Efron, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Alexandra Daddario, Jon Bass and Amin Joseph came out to take part in all the fun. Main star Dwayne Johnson and co-star Charlotte McKinney weren’t able to make it out.

Sadly, TV stars Pamela Anderson, David Hasselhoff and Carmen Electra didn’t make the event. But the Baywatch alumni that did attend was still impressive. Donna D’Errico, Kelly Packard, Angelica Bridges, Jason Simmons, Nancy Valen and Erika Eleniak reunited for the big event.

With this turnout, I can only imagine the whole gang will be together for the film’s premiere.  But it’s clearly going to have to go a ways to top the fun of this SloMo marathon. Not like we’re going to see a turtle at the premiere after all.
