Linda Cardellini is a kidnapping former prom queen in first Austin Found trailer
I’m always down for a fun, silly comedy and Austin Found looks like it could be entertaining. I love those films that aren’t on my radar but end up being a really fun surprise. Here’s hoping that’s the case here.

The trailer looks promising enough to make it worth checking it out.
Linda Cardellini (Avengers: Age of Ultron) plays Leanne Miller, a former beauty queen and prom queen desperately seeking fame and fortune while she still has some good years left. At 36-years-old, Leanne figures the clock is ticking on celebrity status or else she’s doomed to a non-tweet worthy life.
To fix that, she partners with her ex-boyfriend, Billy (Skeet Ulrich, Riverdale) and his ex-con pal Jebidiah (Craig Robinson, Table 19). The trio plot to kidnap Leanne’s daughter, Patty (Uusula Parker, Louie) for a few months to create some buzz. But until the fateful reunion, Leanne has to avoid a reporter (Kristen Schaal, Bob’s Burgers) and sheriff (Patrick Warburton, A Series of Unfortunate Events) from learning the truth about Patty’s disappearance.
Austin Found arrives in theaters and Video On Demand on July 7.
