The Snowman trailer is absolutely chilling

Michael Fassbender is after a serial killer in The Snowman trailer. A lot of these crime thrillers end up being terribly disappointing, but I’ve got high hopes for this one.

This is a new kind of role for Fassbender. Typically he plays more shades of grey characters so it’ll be a nice change of pace to see him as the hero.

Fassbender is joined by Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation), who looks to play his partner. Also co-starring are Val Kilmer, Jamie Clayton, JK Simmons and Chloë Sevigny.

This one shot poster is pretty creepy too.

The Snowman arrives in theaters Oct. 20.
