SDCC 2017 WWE Fashion Doll line revealed
Mattel makes WWE figures. Mattel makes Barbie dolls. It only made sense to combine the two. We’d seen some small pics, but at SDCC 2017, WWE’s Fashion Doll line got the spotlight at the WWE panel.
This news didn’t exactly sit well with the non-doll collectors online.

The Fashion Doll line is 12 inches so collectors can put them with their Barbies. Savvy thinking from Mattel. In a neat twist, the superstars come with their ring attire and after hours outfits. So Natalya can put on her dinner dress after beating up Nikki Bella.
Collectors will be able to pre-order the line July 24 at ToysRUs.com. One of the cooler aspects of the line is a Ultimate Entrance Set complete with backstage area.

Mattel is also doing a more stylized action figure line for the female superstars. This one is less detailed than the regular WWE Basics and Elite. Most of the main roster is included, although it’d be neat to see Flashbacks like Lita and Trish Stratus appear as well.
