IT giveaway – free tickets for the Stephen King thriller update

I’m pretty excited about this one. Lyles Movie Files is hosting an IT giveaway so you can get tickets to the Stephen King thriller early.

Check out the latest trailer:

And here’s the synopsis:

New Line Cinema’s horror thriller IT, directed by Andy Muschietti is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades. When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

I’m not so sure about having kids face off against Pennywise. Part of what made the Tim Curry film so terrifying was when the children were all grown up and had to face him again. Otherwise, this looks like it’ll be pretty good.

Here’s the screening information:

Tuesday, September 5th – 7:30 PM
Regal Gallery Place

Special heads up on the It giveaway. This is the day after Labor Day so consider vacation plans when you enter.

I’ve got 10 admit two passes for the It giveaway. For this one, let’s have some fun with it. Since It is based on a terrifying clown, drop a comment with the one thing that scares you that might not freak everyone out.

UPDATE: Here’s the link for the screening.
