Baltimore Comic Con 2017 cosplay
Time for another of my favorite posts of the year. The Baltimore Comic Con 2017 cosplay showcase. I could only make it out Saturday, but judging by the amazing cosplay on display there was no bad day. If Saturday was any indication, Deadpool might finally be falling out of cosplay favor. The new king queen of cosplay probably shouldn’t come as any surprise. It’s Wonder Woman.
Batman held it down as usual and there were plenty of Star Wars cosplayers, but the Baltimore Con Con 2017 cosplay scene definitely saw more Wonder Woman. Harley Quinn, Catwoman and Poison Ivy all vied for runner-up, but thanks to her film Wonder Woman was the big winner.
Not that the others weren’t well represented. Marvel characters just don’t match up to DC’s big 4 ladies.
Marvel seemed a little underrepresented this year. The costume contest didn’t see a lot of Marvel characters, but there was an amazing Groot and Gamora participating. There was even a cool Yondu as Mary Poppins cosplayer.

I got a big kick as usual seeing families cosplay together. One of my favorites was a kid dressed as Nathan Drake as his mother mentioned not a lot of people guessed his costume.
With no further ado, let’s take a look at the full gallery. If I got a character wrong, please help me out. There’s some I’m just starting to not be in the loop to know anymore.
And here’s a little fun I had with a Cottonmouth and Commissioner Gordon cosplayer.
