New Black Panther trailer reveals clash of the panthers
My birthday isn’t until 11 more days and Marvel Studios is already bringing presents with the new Black Panther trailer.
Thanks to early product reveals we knew Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger was going to be donning his own Black Panther suit. For fans of the Christopher Priest Black Panther run, Killmonger’s Panther definitely resembles that outfit.
But Ryan Coogler’s film also sports more modern influences like the Ta-Nehisi Coates’ costume that T’Challa always wears.
That shot of Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther in the plains looks amazing. I’m thrilled to actually see some more footage of the film finally.
Thankfully there’s a few more terrific looking distractions with Thor: Ragnarok, Justice League and The Last Jedi to make the wait for Feb. 16 not so unbearable.
