Maestros #3

Issue #2 of Maestros ended with a cliffhanger; Wren betrayed William and takes a powerful book her former master desires. #3 picks up right where we last left off as Wren is brutally murdered and Rygol recruits the help of a powerful warrior whose taste for creative deaths is insatiable.

One of the best Image releases of 2017, Maestros solidifies its place on my must read list. Full of twists and turns and comedy, Issue #3 also flexes the power of William as he aims to revive his childhood love. Although I wonder if Wren was truly under Rygol’s influence as William thinks. It’s extremely possible that Wren orchestrated her entire betrayal all of her own with probable cause due to being enslaved for years.

Hopefully I’m incorrect because I certainly ship their union. William needs as much love as possible as he continues to fills the shoes of his dead father in 2018. — Pierre Brown
